  • We are currently using poppet style couplers on our snow removal equipment and often experience water freezing in the couplers when left out all night and oil spillage on disconnection. Do you have a better option for a small fleet of plow trucks?
< Back

The poppet style was popular and in use for many snow removal applications, although better options now exist such as the APM series and flat face couplers. The APM is designed to relieve residual pressure within itself, providing a solution for connecting under pressure. The flat face valve design eliminates any cavities for water to collect and freeze, and there is no spillage upon disconnection. In some cases, a multi-coupling plate may bring added value as well.  Just give us a call and we’ll help you decide what’s best for your application.

Previous We are currently using flat face couplings on a hydraulic breaker and after a short amount of time, the two halves become locked together and need to be replaced. Is there a different product better suited for our application?
Next We are having an issue with the GR series multi-couplers experiencing corrosion in a very high (100%) humidity environment used for mining applications. Do you have a better option with corrosion resistant couplers that will maintain a tight seal?
